Poetry tour Saimaa 2006-

Poetry tour on Lake Saimaa is a phenomenon that simultaneously consists of sailing, multidisciplinary art and scientific poetry as well as of the metaphysical charging of the whole year.

The first poetry tour was organised in 2006. The original members were poets Juha Rautio, Topi Paalanen and Samuli Laurikainen. During the years also other artists have participated the tour, such as the juggling poets Sakari Männistö and Miika Nuutinen, and photographer Teemu Juutilainen. The productions of the poetry tour have been performed in e.g. Savonlinna, Kuopio, Joensuu, Savonranta, Oravi, Puumala, Imatra, Lappeenranta and on several wharfs, isles and reefs.
