Performance, “Hapuilu” (To Fumble), marvels at the unpredictability when trying to fumble towards control of things. At the same time, there is clearness as well as serenity, which is sometimes almost impossible to see.
How do I keep the ball under my control? What happens if I lose control? I fight for the control of the ball without knowing if my body adheres. Concentrating on the fight feels liberating. I focus my thoughts on one object, the ball. Can I and do I want to pay attention to the environment and the viewer at the same time?

”Hapuilu” – teos ihmettelee arvaamattomuutta, koittaen selviytyä haparoinnista ja hamuilla
kontrollia. Samaan aikaan kääntöpuolella on selkeys sekä seesteisyys jota on joskus miltei
mahdotonta nähdä.
Miten pidän pallon hallinnassani? Mitä jos hallinta kirpoaa? Taistelen pallon hallinnasta tietämättäni taipuuko keho mukanani. Herpaantumaton keskittyminen tuntuukin vapauttavalta, keskitän ajatukseni ja fokukseni yhteen objektiin, palloon. Osaanko ja haluanko huomioida samalla ympäristöäni, entä katsojaa.
