Sakari Männistö juggling in the woods in a pouring rain at six am.
I thought I would go into the woods, where I feel comfortable. My aim was not to disturb the forest, nor the forest feeling I have, too much. On the other hand, originally, I was going to have a soundscape representing everything I would hide in the forest from, and perhaps some of it was still there, the sound itself.

Besides juggling equipment and the camera, I brought with me a small speaker, which went quiet in the rain, juggling balls dried in a day, and with the camera being waterproof nothing was ruined, I believe the forest, and the forest feeling, also recovered from the shock. I planned to do the performance on that morning at 6am, and it is hard for a performer like me to cancel a gig just because of a small rain.

Ajattelin mennä metsään, jossa viihdyn. Tavoitteena oli esiintyä siellä niin ettei se kovin häiritsisi metsää tai metsässä olemista. Alunperin meinasin että ääninauhalla olisi kaikkea sitä mitä metsään lähtee pakoon ja ehkä siinä sitä olikin, ääni siis. Mukana minulla oli heittovälineiden ja kameran lisäksi pieni kaijutin, joka hyytyi hetkellisesti kaatosateessa, pallotkin kuivuivat ja kamera on vesitiivis joten mikään ei oikeastaan mennyt pilalle. Olin suunnitellut esiintyväni tuona päivänä, aamulla kello 6:00. Oli aika sateinen aamu, mutta keikkaa on hankala näin esiintyvänä taiteilijana perua sateen takia.
